Mr. David Cameron. Prime Minister of the United Kingdom: Please accept Galiza as an integral part of United Kingdom when Scotland becomes independent! Petitioning Mr. David Cameron, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. This is, of course, a flippant petition made in jest (that perhaps makes an irresponsible use of a serious organisation intended for worthy causes). Funny enough, it has a precedent in history: the island of Malta successfully requested to become a part of Britain in 1808. What do you make of it? Would you sign it to show your disagreement with the current state of things in Spain or your Anglophilia? Do you think we share so many things with Scotland? Do we Galicians tend to identify more readily with other Europeans (especially the so called "Celtic nations") than with attitudes commonly associated with Spain or some of its regions? http://www.change.org/petitions/mr-david-cameron-prime-minister-of-the-united-kingdom-please-accept-galiza-as-an-integral-part-of-united-kingdom-when-scotland-becomes-independent
